ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Alexis McConnell
I am a 3D animator with a deep curiosity about how medium and style influence animation. I love the versatility of 3D animation and how it allows for endless creative solutions to visual storytelling challenges. My work is bold and colorful, and I use animation as a tool for problem solving. Whether it's conveying emotion, building immersive worlds, or experimenting with movement and form. I believe the medium of a piece shapes its meaning and how viewers interact with it, and I'm always pushing the boundaries of animation to explore new possibilities.

My inspiration comes from the world around me like the trinkets I collect, my family, or the Midwest surroundings that have shaped me. I was born in Dixon Illinois, and earned my Associate of Fine Arts at Sauk Valley Community College. Currently I live in Milwaukee, where I am continuing my education at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, majoring in illustration with an animation track. Overall, I believe art is an essential part of human nature, and through my work, I aim to explore every medium while crafting meaningful and thought provoking pieces.
