Lesbian Bar Redesign

Concept
This project is a brand redesign for Mo'na's, a now closed lesbian bar in Milwaukee. The goal was to create a refined, sensual vibe that felt new but still paid homage to the original bar and design. The project was a set of logo design and a promotional poster the portrays a elegant and exciting night life experience.
Process
I began by devloping the visual identity of the bar focousing on typeography and a chohesive color pallet that communicates warmth, initmacy, and sophistication. The clasic serrif type with a chery glyph creates a recognizable brand identity. The design is complemeted with a bold and coloful poster with unique shapes and strong tactile shading. The poster was created in blender by layering thin shapes together and pushing and pulling them to add depth.

Outcome
The final piece combines branding and dimensional design to reimagine Mo'na's as a stylish and welcoming queer night life destination. The logo system establish a distinct identity, while the 3D poster expands the identity into a visual narrative visual moment that reflects the atmosphere of the space. Together the elements highlight my approach to brand storytelling and demonstrate how flat graphic design can be translated into tactile dimensional compositions.
