Queer Bar Scene Poster

Concept
This project explores a lively queer bar scene celebrating community and  expression. I wanted to capture the energy of a crowded nightlife space through playful shapes, bold colors and expressive poses. The scene depicts ten stylized figures each uniquely designed and posed to draw your eye around the energetic scene.
Process
The artwork was modeled and rendered in Blender. I focused on building characters with simple geometric forms and strong shape language so that each figure would read clearly in the busy environment. Each element is composed of thin shapes stacked on top of one another and pushed and pulled forward in the scene to show depth and hierarchy. To add to the playful nature of the piece, I applied a clay like texture and colorful lighting to the characters and environment.
Outcome
The final is a colorful and exciting artwork that highlights character posing, stylized modeling and color driven storytelling. Although it was a smaller project, it has resonated with viewers and demonstrates my interest in expressive characters, playful environments, and tactile 3D aesthetics.
