Queer Bar Scene Poster
Concept
This project is a set of four posters and a sticker advocating for queer and trans rights. The serries draws inspiration from vintage queer protest graphics, aiming to capture a sense urgency, and boldness that encourages people to act. I used bright pops of color and strong graphics that feel unapologetic and demands attention.
.
Process
The posters were designed as a cohesive serries, each piece centered around a clear message supported by striking visual elements. I used image collage, halftone textures, grain, and distressed effects. Typography played a key role om the process, with bold direct type treatments that reinforces urgency and clarity of the messages. The sticker was developed as a smaller extension of the project that would be mobile and seen by the general public.
